Bi-Lingual Individual Support Workers Needed

Job Summary Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part‑Time Bi‑Lingual Individual Support Worker to provide in‑home care for children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves collaborating with behavioral therapists, supporting families, and ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for clients in the Roselle, NJ area. Responsibilities Assist behavioral therapists in developing and implementing individualized behavioral therapy programs. Deliver behavioral interventions and support services in home and community settings. Monitor and document observations of youth behavior to adjust daily activities and achieve therapeutic goals. Create and lead engaging recreational activities that foster emotional and social growth. Maintain a clean, secure environment and enforce safety standards as instructed. Work independently while following established protocols and guidelines. Qualifications College degree with one year of experience, or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of three years of supervised experience in positive behavior support plans and ADL/instrumental skill instruction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and professionals. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
