We’re seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to support our growing employment and personal injury legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and conduct legal research. Compensation:

$70,500

Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues
• Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits
• Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
• Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses
• Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Talented communicator and writer
• Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
• Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills

• Experience in conducting client interviews to gather detailed information about legal issues.
• Ability to assist attorneys in preparing comprehensive legal documentation, including pleadings and correspondence.
• Proven track record of organizing law office activities, such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers.
• Proficiency in preparing and organizing exhibits for trial, assisting with client meetings, and filing motions.
• Strong research skills, particularly in legal articles, to support case preparation and strategy.
• Experience in organizing case filing systems to ensure documents are easily accessible and properly sorted.
• Ability to perform administrative duties efficiently, supporting the smooth operation of the legal team.
