Primary Responsibilities As an Assistant Project Manager, your primary responsibilities include: Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs. Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents. Take a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking. Aid in the management of subcontractors and other team members. Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards. Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts. Coordinate the purchasing of essential safety supplies, products, or training items. This position will be based at a construction project located in Wilton, CT or New Haven, CT. What You Bring to Us Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred; or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management of multifamily, tenant fit out or hospitality renovation projects in the $1 million - $10 million dollar range. Thorough knowledge and understanding of project budgeting and job costing. General contracting and/or construction subcontracting experience. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication. Proven supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage team. This position will be based at a construction project located in Wilton, CT or New Haven, CT.
