Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Active SLP license required; Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) applicants are welcome
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric caseloads is beneficial, but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Passion for working with young children, providing compassionate care and effective communication strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 36-40 students at a daycare center, focusing on assessment, intervention, and tailored therapy plans
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to support each child’s success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, engaging therapy environment that promotes each child’s unique strengths and needs
This is a fully onsite position, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours within a supportive educational community. The contract runs through May 21, 2027, providing stability and professional growth opportunities for the right candidate. Compensation will reflect your expertise and commitment to student success.
