PROCUREMENT ANALYST

Duties
Conducts analysis and evaluation of acquisition matters, and the initiation, development and recommendation of contracting policies, procedures, guidance, and controls for DISA contracting activities.
Supports the Head of the Contracting Activity (HCA), and serves as an advisor to contracting officers, program managers, project officials, Comptroller and CIO, in procurement policy matters.
Initiates, develops, and recommends contracting policies and procedures for the guidance and control of DISA contracting activities.
Participates in procurement management reviews of DISA contracting activities to ascertain compliance with Federal DOD, and DISA acquisition laws policies, and procedures and to analyze the efficiency of the contracting operation.
Proven ability in written and oral communications sufficient to present sensitive recommendations to higher authority, to obtain compliance with policies from DISA contracting activities.
