Shipping/Receiving Position1st Shift - 6:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Thursday 12 month contractPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for a variety of shipping, receiving or material handling functions in order to meet customer delivery schedules safely, accurately, and efficiently.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to work independently with limited assistance in either materials or shipping/receiving.Understanding of Client systemAble to issue parts in system, Client & SoluminaUnderstanding and usage of material functions in SoluminaAble to understand Lean Kit board, Kanban board, etc.Understand shipping process and able to process basic shipments with limited assistanceUnderstand how to key in shipmentsSchedule and arrange outbound shipments with carriersAble to receive parts in ClientMay perform other related responsibilities.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED requiredMay be required to lift up to 35 lbsBasic inventory knowledgeBasic shipping/receiving knowledgeBasic knowledge of problem solving toolsAbility to read and understand work instructions, accurately complete required paperworkDOT certificationDemonstrate process knowledge on newly learned techniquesAbility to work in team settingsDemonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
