Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented DoD Senior Financial Management Specialist to assist with a large data analytics & engineering program.

The Senior Financial Management Specialist primary function is to provide expert guidance and support in the areas of financial management, including Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE). This Senior Financial Management Specialist collaborates with various stakeholders to develop and refine mission scenarios, objectives, strategies, and plans.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Advises stakeholders on key issues and interfaces with other top subject matter experts.

• Provides guidance and insight into specific business domains and technologies.

• Effectively coordinates risks and opportunities to leadership.

• Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with clients, prospects, and teaming partners to result in new or expanded growth for organization.

• Work to plan, set goals, and execute the DoD FM strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience.

• 5 years of experience in DoD financial management

• Proven experience in financial planning, operations, and execution, preferably in a complex and dynamic environment.

• Strong knowledge of DoD financial management, including PPBE and accounting.

• Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Security Clearance:

• Current Secret Clearance is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.

• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
