Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team!
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. This role works collaboratively within the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication therapy for patients across the lifespan.
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist plays an active role in antimicrobial stewardship efforts, promotes optimal medication use, assists with formulary management, and supports pharmacy and hospital policy review. This position contributes to quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and patient safety while providing clinical drug information to providers, nursing staff, and patients.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent. Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy. Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Idaho. Education in all age groups ranging from newborn to the geriatric population obtained either in school education or subsequent training.
Experience: Residency not required, but preferred.
Equipment/Technology: Basic computer knowledge. Grasp of automated pharmacy systems, IV Laminar Flow Hood or the willingness to learn.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages are preferred.
Mathematical Skills: Demonstrates ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as dosage calculations, formulation of pharmaceutical preparations, data analysis, exponents and logarithms.
Mental Capabilities: Ability to follow direction and make independent judgement decisions.
Interpersonal: Is capable of cooperating with colleagues and supervisors.
Performance: Works well under pressure, and can meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines. Capable of demonstrating cooperative behavior at all times.
