This contract opportunity is designed for a skilled Physical Therapist who is passionate about working with children and youth to help them reach their fullest potential during the 2026-2027 school year. Serving a caseload of 35-40 students, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing their educational experience and physical development. This part-time position offers 7.5 hours each week, providing a consistent yet flexible schedule to support your work-life balance. As an integral member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll use your expertise to assess, plan, and implement therapy sessions that promote physical strengths and functional independence. All responsibilities are carried out on‑site with no remote or hybrid work options, ensuring hands‑on support and engagement with students and staff. Key Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution Active state license (or eligibility) to practice as a Physical Therapist Previous experience providing PT services in school settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families Proactive, creative, and compassionate approach to student care Responsibilities Include: Evaluating and identifying students’ physical therapy needs Developing and executing individualized treatment plans to support educational goals Collaborating with teachers, parents, and educational staff to maximize student progress Monitoring and documenting student outcomes to adjust interventions as needed Providing resources and guidance to school personnel to ensure effective therapy integration This opportunity allows you to truly make a difference, helping students access their education through enhanced mobility and confidence.
