The main purpose of the Endo/GI nurse is to provide quality patient care according to Cambridge Health Alliance and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates standards of nursing practice. The role of the Endo/GI nurse is to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care in a professional manner. The GI Scheduling nurse will also demonstrate the ability to provide care in procedural, pre-and post procedural, and clinic settings.Qualifications//Education/Certification:Graduate of an accredited school of NursingCurrent RN MA licensure in good standing required.American Heart Association BLS certifications required; ABCGN Certification is preferred.Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
