Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Watertown, NY, starting 11/23/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn between $2,445 and $2,570 per week with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is night—7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.—on a 12x3 schedule in an ED care setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ED, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and treatment per nursing standards
- Administer medications, IV therapy, manage telemetry, and interpret cardiac rhythms as indicated
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; assist with dispositions and discharges
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, identify life-threatening situations, and apply appropriate interventions; use patient lifts safely and adhere to infection control practices
- Document care and maintain accurate nursing records in the MEDITECH system; may assume charge nurse duties as assigned

Requirements
- Active NYS RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- MEDITECH electronic health record experience required
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Travel experience required
- IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy certification during orientation; defibrillation certification within six months; lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
- Critical Care and/or charge nurse experience preferred; ability to function effectively in a high-stress environment and demonstrate leadership
