Overview Registered Nurse, SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) travel position in Cleveland, Ohio. Start date: 09/21/2026 for a 13‑week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,247–$2,356 per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,247–$2,356 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12‑hour rotating shifts Start date: 09/21/2026 Work setting: trauma/surgical ICU in a high‑acuity care environment in Cleveland, OH Responsibilities Provide direct clinical care for SICU trauma and surgical patients, including monitoring and ongoing assessment Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; adjust plans as clinically indicated Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; participate in rounds, care planning, and discharge planning Document nursing care in the electronic medical record (Epic); manage medication dispensing through Pyxis; coordinate communication via Vocera and Outlook Respond to physiologic changes and emergencies; support patients with invasive monitoring and ventilator management as required by unit protocols Requirements Current Ohio Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association Preferred: one year of Trauma or Surgical ICU experience Physical environment requires the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the day; ability to lift, push, and pull up to 250 lbs with assistance Ability to work in a high‑acuity SICU setting and participate in a rotating schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start Ongoing assignment support and communication throughout the travel term Access to unit tools and systems (Epic, Pyxis, Vocera, Outlook) to perform duties efficiently Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
