How you'll contribute A Speech‑Language Pathologist who excels in this role: Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition. Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family. Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services. Possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY). Licensed or eligible for licensure in state. Current Basic Life Support.
