Job Description

The maintenance technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by maintaining and repairing all mechanically and electrically driven conveyors and production machinery. The role involves a blend of troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks.

This is a long-term opportunity

Shift: 2nd shift 4pm-1:30am Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $32.07/hour to start

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair all mechanically and electrically driven conveyors and production machinery in the plant.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs on machinery and conveyors, including occasional component replacement.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair work with relays for conveyor equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair forklift malfunctions as needed.
• Repair and troubleshoot box and wrap machinery.
• Perform pneumatic and hydraulic line work, including repairs on air pumps.
• Fabricate and work with switches and gearboxes.
• Understand and work with ladder logic and time sequences.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with 480 volt, 3 Phase systems.
• Proficiency in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greencastle, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.07 - $32.07/hr.
