Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

Overview This is a part-time entry-level position for servicing aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting and other heavy physical demands are involved. Work is typically during business hours (8am–7pm) with hours varying monthly, averaging 10–20 hours per month depending on locations due for service. Responsibilities Service and maintenance of aquariums and aviaries at client facilities Storing and transporting supplies as needed (owning to 50# bags of bedding and seed and multiple totes) Communicate effectively with customers and team members Plan and manage service schedules for the customer base Maintain professional appearance and time management Qualifications and Experience Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred Willingness to learn, strong work ethic, punctuality, and good attendance Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English; ability to work in a team Mechanical aptitude preferred; flexibility with schedule and responsibilities Ability to travel within service area radius; valid driver’s license Heavy lifting and maneuvering required Benefits Employee discounts Flexible schedule Free uniforms Additional Details Travel in a 240 mile radius of Helena, MT is required using a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving; hourly wage is not paid during driving. Cities served include: Butte, Ennis, Missoula, Sheridan, Hamilton, Fort Benton, Chinook, Billings, Roundup.
