Quality Control Technician - 3rd Shift (11pm to 7: 30am)

Location: Midway, TN
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday- Thursday)
Overtime: Weekends and additional overtime as scheduled

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team in Midway, TN. The ideal candidate will have previous quality control or inspection experience. Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering excellent benefits upon permanent hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Assist in investigating quality concerns and implementing corrective actions.
• Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety policies.
• Work closely with production personnel to ensure product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous quality control or quality inspection experience required.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime, including weekends, when scheduled.
