Director of Sales & Marketing

About the Job

We're looking for a Director of Sales to lead and execute sales initiatives that drive occupancy, grow market share, and maximize revenue across group, corporate, and event segments.

At Holiday Inn , part of the globally recognized IHG Hotels & Resorts family, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on hotel performance while building strong client relationships and leading a dynamic sales effort.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive occupancy and ADR.
  • Generate group, corporate, and event business.
  • Build relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local partners.
  • Conduct sales calls, site tours, and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business.
  • Manage and grow the sales pipeline and prospecting efforts.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure successful event execution.
  • Partner with leadership on pricing strategy and revenue optimization.
  • Represent the hotel in the local business and hospitality community.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5+ years of hotel sales experience.
  • Proven success in group sales, corporate accounts, and events.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue drivers (Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR).
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and hotel sales tools, Delphi Experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.
  • Open availability including some evenings and weekends to oversee events.
