Unit Clerk - Corrections

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Ward Clerk to work at a facility in **Colorado Springs , CO. ** These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate : $25 / hour

Shift Details :

• MON-FRI 0800-1700

The requirements are:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Ward Clerk

• Basic computer and data entry skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)

• Good organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Medical and billing experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and greet patients or visitors

• Maintain and update patient records and charts

• Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures

• Enter patient information into the hospital system

• Assist nurses and doctors with administrative tasks

• Prepare and organize medical documents and forms

• Coordinate communication between departments

• Order and manage office or medical supplies

• Ensure patient files are complete and accurate

• Follow hospital policies and confidentiality rules
