Experienced Certified Medical Front or Back Office Assistant

Job Summary and Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining history and performing EKGs and Treadmill tests, answering phones, taking accurate messages, obtaining prior authorizations for procedures and medications, checking in patients, collecting copays, verifying insurance eligibility and benefit information and other office duties as specified by the practice manager.

Experience:Certified Medical Assistant: 1 yr experience (Preferred)

Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Medical Assistant Certificate (Required)

Salary:Negotiable depending upon experience

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
