We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to support manufacturing and industrial operations in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, troubleshooting, and reading technical documents. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment. Responsibilities include performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and testing of industrial equipment. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Assistance with hydraulic systems, pressure testing, and equipment troubleshooting is also required. Inspection of completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met is part of the job. Operating equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes when needed, safely lifting, moving, and positioning materials and equipment up to 50 lbs, following all safety procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment are also essential. Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks. Participation in occasional travel or offshore activities as required.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred. 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, mechanical maintenance, or related field preferred. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents. Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with hydraulic systems, pressure testing, or industrial equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work in industrial environments with moving equipment and machinery.

Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM | Overtime and weekends as needed Duration: Temp to Hire
