Corporate Responsibility (CR) Department The CR department supports JPMC's business objectives by advancing a more durable and safe financial system and an economy that works for all. The department includes sub‑departments focused on policy advocacy, philanthropy, sustainability, impact finance, community engagement and data analysis. CR Strategy – Associate Position CR Strategy is seeking an Associate to help solve complex problems and implementation issues critical to Corporate Responsibility and the firm. Key Responsibilities Define and deconstruct problems to drive solutions. Execute creative analyses using a mix of quantitative and qualitative data and provide insight to identify issues and arrive at recommendations. Identify implications and “so what” of data and analysis. Develop strategic presentations for CR and broader JPMC audiences. Simultaneously work on multiple projects within the Department as well as those that extend to other Lines of Business and Corporate strategy organizations. Qualifications 1–3+ years of diverse problem‑solving experience in management consulting, corporate/in‑house strategy or similar roles. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written). Excellent and efficient PowerPoint and Excel skills. Outstanding judgment, organizational skills, and independent decision‑making ability. Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer‑like way. Experience working in philanthropy, government, non‑profit or policy organizations is a plus. About The Team Our strategy team manages mission‑critical projects ranging from developing growth strategies, to assessing and planning entry into new markets, to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies. Projects are typically team‑based and include close collaboration with senior executives.
