In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and other common areas. Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior. Support daily operations at a high-traffic commercial location by assisting with directions, answering questions, and maintaining a professional presence during routine and special event activity. Minimum Requirements 2+ years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
