Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures and government location requirements. Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site contacts, assisting with post orders, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
