Physical Therapist – Nassau, NY Physical Therapist Position at Achieve Beyond in Nassau, NY. Provide pediatric physical therapy services, conduct evaluations, and work in various settings including homes, clinics, and community. Join a dedicated team that supports children with special needs. Salary & Compensation Evaluations: $130.00 – $250.00 per hour. Regular sessions: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour. Compensation will be discussed during interview. Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement. Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings. Follow unique therapy plan for each family/child, plan ongoing treatment, and address identified goals while documenting progress. Prepare progress reports as required. Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families in compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations; submit records within established timelines. Requirements Passion for working with children and families. NYS Licensed Physical Therapist. 1–2 years of experience working with children birth–5 preferred but not required. Self‑motivated, team player, patient, and professional. Fluency in a language other than English is a plus. Physical Requirements Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving personal vehicle, walking, or using public transportation. Ability to ascend and descend staircases. Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly. Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods.
