Job Description: The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department, including payroll, managing/mentoring employees, and enforcing company policies and practices. This person will spearhead change initiatives to improve operations and enhance departmental performance. Oversee and manage the performance evaluation system and processes to drive high performance. Plan, organize, and control the activities and actions of the HR department. Contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems. Manage the HRIS systems to ensure they are working properly. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and assist in the creation of, and adherence to, policies, standards, and procedures. Partner with leadership to help implement HR law and policy changes in the organization. Provide advice and suggestions that will help with policy implementation to the leadership team. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Review, revise, and become familiar with the company’s employee handbook. Create and maintain HR reports (new hires, terminations, EEO-1, rosters, labor reports). Research and develop resources that create timely and efficient workflow. Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by executive management. Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace. Maintain good communication with executive management, office staff members, and outside contacts. Compensation: $81,000-$87,000 + Bonus (Performance Based) Cost of living adjustments (when applicable and available) Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with competitive deductibles and benefit amounts. 401(k) Plan: 3% employer match on employee contributions Additional 2% match on 50% of employee contributions Paid Time Off: Generous vacation policy: 10 days in the first year of employment 15 days in the second year of employment 25 days in the fifth year of employment 11 observed holidays Maximum PTO accrual of 300 hours Work Schedule: Remote Hybrid: Thursday to Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM (remote).
