Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate for its Austin, Texas office. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic and nationally recognized practice group. Duties Lead M&A transactions from inception to closing. Draft operating and partnership agreements. Support the day-to-day needs of portfolio companies. Negotiate important transaction documents. Collaborate effectively across practice areas. Train junior associates. Requirements 4-6 years of experience with private equity funds and M&A transactions. Experience with capital raises and debt and securities offerings. Strong academic background and superior drafting skills. Admitted to the Texas Bar. Willingness to participate in community and professional organizations. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Texas. Skills Detail-oriented and proactive. Strong research and drafting skills. Team-oriented and personable. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
