Associate - Corporate Privacy and Cyber Transactional

Job OverviewA law firm seeks an experienced Associate in Austin, TX, to join its Corporate Privacy and Cyber practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in privacy law, focusing on transactional matters. Duties Advise clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI compliance. Negotiate privacy and cybersecurity components in commercial agreements. Manage privacy, security, and AI aspects of corporate transactions. Draft and review legal documents with precision. Lead projects with minimal supervision. Requirements Minimum of four years of privacy law experience. Proven experience in product counseling and commercial contracts. Strong drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proactive approach to driving matters forward. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications CIPP certification preferred. Skills Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Aptitude for technology and understanding of AI technologies.
