Cardiology Services | ChristianaCare The Medical Office Assistant I schedules appointments with attention to insurance, greets patients while collecting necessary information, and processes referrals while maintaining confidentiality. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:30am to 5pm (hours could vary, will not exceed 40 hours/week). No weekends or holidays. They manage communications by answering calls, relaying messages, and using EMR systems to coordinate with providers and staff. The role includes updating patients, scheduling tests and appointments, maintaining medical records, resolving patient issues, supporting administrative tasks, and following safety protocols, with additional duties as needed. Position Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED required. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
