Manage and organize all efiling processes, ensuring all legal documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. Oversee calendar management for the legal team, scheduling and coordinating meetings, court dates, and deadlines, ensuring no scheduling conflicts and that all appointments are met. Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports, including drafting, formatting, and proofreading. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court officials, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Conduct legal research as necessary, providing accurate and timely information to support case preparation. Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system, ensuring all confidential information is secure and easily accessible for the legal team. Provide additional administrative support as needed, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and coordinating travel arrangements. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant supporting commercial or business litigation. Proficiency in efiling systems and calendar management software. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, attorneys, and court officials. Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal document formatting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and legal research software. A degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate the needs of the legal team and take initiative where appropriate. Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
