Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg, Hanford, CA. Start date: 08/17/2026. This eight-week travel assignment offers guaranteed 48 hours per week. Earn $1,911 to $1,929 per week. Shift is 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), on a 3x12 schedule within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This assignment requires an active RN license in the state of practice and professional nursing competencies appropriate for medical-surgical care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group using established standards and the nursing process
- Collect and analyze health data; identify diagnoses and care needs; develop and implement an care plan
- Supervise and direct nursing staff across levels; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the treatment team; provide health information and education
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties within the healthcare team; contribute to a safe, healing environment

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; CPR certification or BLS accepted per policy
- At least 2 years of recent experience in the field (acute care preferred)
- BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC and Cerner experience is advantageous for backfill and workflow alignment
- Ability to work in an acute care setting and participate in discharge planning
