Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician

Location: St. Paul, MN

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00/hr

Shift:

6:00am to 2:30pm M-F

2:30pm to 11:00pm M-F

Employment Type: Full time, trial to hire

About this Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our production equipment and facility. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment used throughout our plating operation.

The Maintenance Technician must be able to work semi-independently, respond to production-line problems, identify the likely cause of equipment failures, and complete repairs safely and efficiently. The position will also support preventive maintenance, facility repairs, and equipment-improvement projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, sensors, piping, controls, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems affecting plating lines and facility equipment.
• Replace or repair pumps, seals, bearings, valves, sensors, hoses, piping, and related components.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and work with production employees to restore operations.
• Support plating lines and facility operations with limited direct supervision.
• Determine when a repair can be completed internally and when additional technical or outside support is needed
• More duties as assigned

What makes you a great fit:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, sensors, motors, piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting, including verifying power, checking switches and sensors, and safely replacing basic components.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through equipment problems in a logical manner.
