Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this summer as a School Psychologist, supporting PreK–8th grade students on a part-time, contract basis. This flexible opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in school settings and are seeking to enhance student well-being within a collaborative educational environment. You’ll work onsite, Monday through Thursday from 8am–12pm at a single elementary school, providing valuable support to students as they finish the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) certification for School Psychologists
- Ability to obtain and successfully complete a district background check and fingerprinting
- Experience working with children in PreK–8th grade preferred
- Comfortable adapting services for both in-person and virtual/VOCO modalities if needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to partnering with school staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Consult with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support individualized student needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop academic and behavioral intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and short-term interventions to promote student mental health
- Assist with data collection and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
