- Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts that meet sales quotas and targets.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closing sales, including delivery and payment collection where applicable.
- Prospect for potential customers via direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods like networking.
- Manage client relationships with key decision makers, building trust and understanding their overall business goals.
- Position FPT as a strategic IT partner and identify opportunities for IT solution implementation.
- Qualify prospects based on company criteria for ideal customers and sales potential.
- Consult with prospects on business challenges, requirements, and the benefits of various options.
- Maintain relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
- Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers.
- Draft and deliver proposals.
- Collaborate with technical staff and product specialists to address customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain territory and key account plans to meet sales targets and identify value opportunities.
- Report on sales activities regularly, ideally daily, and keep detailed notes in CRM tools.
- Provide sales forecasts and work with delivery teams to address issues proactively.
- Build strong relationships with third-party and partner companies.
- Coordinate with marketing for lead generation campaigns.
- Offer feedback to sales management on sales cycle improvements, branding, and market trends.
- Identify sales support needs and work with marketing to enhance sales tools.
- Represent the company positively in the marketplace and conduct all activities professionally and with integrity.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales and client acquisition.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the software services industry and solutions.
- Experience selling IT services such as Digital Transformation, cloud migration, managed services, and engineering services.
- Sales experience in Banking & Finance, Insurance, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors.
