Business Development Representative

Business Development Representative We are seeking a proactive and motivated Business Development Representative based in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships, generating new business, and providing exceptional service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer‑focused attitude, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. If you are a self‑starter eager to take ownership and thrive in sales, we want to hear from you. Job Responsibilities Meet or exceed sales quotas through the entire sales cycle, including setting up closing appointments and maintaining contact lists. Conduct business presentations and promote continuing education courses. Conduct daily sales contacts to build and nurture customer relationships. Educate clients on our solutions and compile detailed information on decision makers (center of influence). Identify "Target 25" contacts and develop them into clients. Maintain detailed activity logs in Salesforce CRM. Increase sales territory revenue by achieving goals consistently. Complete Emergency Ready Profiles (ERPs) and communicate benefits of emergency event preparation. Qualifications Minimum three years of progressively responsible B2B sales experience preferred. Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector is a plus. Strong sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills. Solid business and financial acumen with a results‑driven mindset. Working knowledge of current business software technologies. Ability to successfully complete a background check per legal requirements. Salesforce experience is a plus. Team‑oriented with a positive attitude and ownership mindset.
