Medical Billing Associate (Onsite)

Operations Medical Billing Associate Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Job Location: Onsite at our Brentwood, TN office. As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you will support staff at our facilities and provide billing services to improve patient care. How you'll contribute Maintain Revenue Cycle Services and resolve billing issues and denials with clinical expertise. Manage daily mail correspondence. Research, work on, and resolve claim denials and rejections for assigned clients. Take ownership of the billing cycle for assigned clients, including charges, payments, and AR metrics. Meet all required deadlines and timeframes for customers and company needs. Assist in developing processes and procedures for each assigned account. Monitor and analyze industry trends and issues for potential organizational impact. Communicate regularly with clients to report trends and recommend resolutions. Collaborate with all departments to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency. Deliver timely reports to management; initiate and communicate resolution of issues such as payer denial trends, collection account issues, and incorrect charges. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and laws. Participate in other projects as assigned by Operations leadership. Experience : 1-2 years in Healthcare, specifically Medical Billing and Revenue Cycle Management. Skills and Abilities ICD-10 and CPT knowledge. Strong organizational skills. Team‑oriented attitude. Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and medical billing software. High‑school graduate or equivalent. Knowledge of full cycle revenue model. Interpretation of medical records and claim documentation. Excellent communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve workflow trends. Athena experience preferred.
