Senior Manager, Financial Systems

Position Summary The Senior Manager, Financial Systems serves as a key member of the Financial Systems team and is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and ongoing evolution of HUB's financial technology applications. This role partners closely with Finance, TechOps, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure financial platforms are stable, controlled, scalable, and aligned with business priorities. The position will initially have primary responsibility for the BlackLine application while also supporting broader Financial Systems initiatives, governance activities, and platform optimization efforts. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for BlackLine, managing configuration, security, user access, and system maintenance. Coordinate application upgrades, testing, and release activities. Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and system improvements. Provide functional support for BlackLine and related financial systems processes, troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolution with internal teams and external vendors. Develop and maintain support documentation, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, controls, and user experience, leading enhancement initiatives. Support SOX, audit, and compliance requirements related to financial systems. Assist with user access reviews, segregation of duties assessments, and system governance activities. Serve as liaison between Finance, TechOps, and third‑party vendors, managing vendor relationships and support engagements. Collaborate with Finance and TechOps to prioritize enhancements and resolve issues. Participate in Financial Systems roadmap development, support platform assessments, and contribute to broader operating model and governance framework development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. 7+ years of experience supporting financial systems, ERP, EPM, close management, or related applications. Strong experience administering and supporting BlackLine. Understanding of accounting and financial close processes. Experience partnering with Finance, Accounting, and IT organizations. Experience managing vendors and third‑party support providers. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle Fusion, HFM, Workiva, or other financial applications. Experience supporting public company, SOX, or IPO‑readiness environments. Experience leading system enhancements, implementations, or optimization initiatives. Experience working in complex, multi‑business‑unit organizations. Reporting Relationship Reports to: VP, Financial Systems Salary and Benefits Expected Salary Range: $125,000 to $145,000, adjusted based on skills, experience, and location.
