Senior Accounting Associate

Clear path to Management with defined opportunities for career progression Work-life balance matters with 3 PM Fridays throughout the summer (May through August) Exposure to a variety of industries, businesses, and accounting challenges Collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong mentorship Competitive PTO program Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and more Performance-driven culture that rewards initiative and professional growth Key Responsibilities Lead and perform financial statement preparation and review engagements Assist clients with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review complex account reconciliations and supporting schedules Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Research and apply accounting guidance to complex accounting matters Support clients with technical accounting, financial reporting and compliance needs Mentor and develop junior accounting staff Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor Assist managers and leadership with special projects and client initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required CPA designation completed or actively pursuing preferred 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation Experience reviewing financial records, reconciliations, and workpapers Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software platforms Desire to grow into a future leadership or management role Ideal Candidate This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, working directly with clients, mentoring others, and building a long-term career with a firm that invests heavily in employee development and work-life balance.
