Front Desk Clerk Fremont County

Fremont Economic Development Corporation

This position handles client-facing duties as well as general office management tasks and non-routine clerical duties. This multi-function position acts as a liaison between customers and Department employees, ensuring customers are routed to the appropriate worker, unit, or community resource. This position is responsible for processing applicants through the Colorado Benefit Management System (CBMS) Application Initiation, EBT Card issuance, scanning and uploading documents, and processing reports. Qualifications: Level I: Education or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Six months full time office experience which includes typing or word processing, bookkeeping or accounting functions, filing, and other general office functions. Substitutions: Successful completion of appropriate course work obtained beyond high school may substitute for the required experience on a month for month basis. Level II: Education and or Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Two (2) years full time office experience which includes typing or word processing, processing, filing and other general office functions. Substitutions: Successful completion of appropriate course work obtained beyond high school may substitute for the required experience on a month for month basis. Additional Requirements: Proof of valid Colorado driver’s license, vehicle in safe operating condition, and liability insurance must be on file at all times.
