Our Service Advisors play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping the shop run smoothly. If you're someone who enjoys customer service, sales, organization, and teamwork, we'd love to meet you.What You'll Do:As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the primary connection between our customers and the technician team. Our team believes no task is too small when it comes to helping customers and supporting the shop.Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, professional experienceAnswer incoming calls promptly and assist customers with service questionsSell recommended maintenance and repair servicesEnter and track customer and vehicle information in shop management softwareTag vehicles and document service needs upon arrivalBuild repair estimates and communicate recommendations clearlyObtain customer authorization for repairsWork closely with technicians to review inspection results and service recommendationsAssign work orders based on technician availability and skill levelTrack vehicle progress and maintain clear notes in work ordersNotify customers when vehicles are ready and arrange payment and vehicle pickupPerform occasional vehicle road testsAssist with general shop operations when needed to support workflowWhat You Can Expect:Competitive hourly payPaid training and skill developmentModern tools and equipmentSupportive team environmentCareer advancement opportunitiesStable workflow and professional shop environmentRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:1+ year Service Advisor / Service Writer experience preferred1+ year sales experience or demonstrated ability to sell servicesStrong customer service and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptionsComfortable using computer systems and shop management softwareBasic mechanical knowledge is a plusHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordWork EnvironmentThis role operates within a professional automotive repair shop environment and requires the ability to:Stand for extended periodsLift up to 50 pounds when neededDrive vehicles for testing or operational purposesWork in a fast-paced environment with customer interactionUse standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and shop softwareSupporting Employees Beyond the Work:At GreatWater, we believe a rewarding career should come with support that goes beyond the shop floor.
