Logistics Coordinator

Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware assets, including receiving, tracking, deployment, and disposition.Receive and inspect incoming hardware shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies.Prepare, package, and coordinate outbound shipments of IT equipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Maintain accurate inventory records and asset databases, updating hardware status, locations, and assignments.Conduct routine physical inventory audits and reconcile inventory counts with asset management records.Track and report on hardware inventory levels, asset movements, and shipping activities.Utilize spreadsheets and asset management tools to maintain data accuracy and generate operational reports.Support hardware deployment, recovery, and refresh initiatives in coordination with IT teams.Collaborate with procurement, IT support, logistics, and facilities teams to ensure efficient asset management processes.Identify inventory discrepancies, investigate issues, and assist in implementing corrective actions.Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance asset tracking, shipping, receiving, and inventory management practices.Follow established policies and procedures related to asset management, data security, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance.Learn and adopt new asset management systems and technologies to improve operational efficiency.Preferred QualificationsExperience with asset management, inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, or IT support environments.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and report creation.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with IT asset management or ticketing platforms is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to lift and move IT equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
