Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Claremore. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery used to produce high-quality precision components while ensuring products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.

The ideal candidate has strong CNC machining experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to precision, quality, and safety.

Required Experience & Skills
• Previous experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machine tools
• Load materials and tooling, perform machine offsets, and make program adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Monitor machine performance and make corrections to maintain quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
• Document production, inspection, and quality-control data accurately
• Follow all company safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and required PPE guidelines
• Work with supervisors, engineers, and production personnel to improve manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with CNC setup and programming adjustments
• Knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and quality control procedures
• Experience in high-volume precision manufacturing

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent reaching, repetitive movement, and machine operation
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
