Job Summary Job Summary We are seeking a Campus Dietitian to join our Team in Chicago, IL for the University of Chicago. Responsibilities Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc. Implements Chartwells Higher Education wellness programming Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces Operational execution and oversight – hands‑on work in dining spaces to serve guests, train associates, audit systems, collaborate with unit leadership, and ensure excellence in operations and culinary services Partner with various campus offices, departments, and organizations to ensure alignment with university goals and needs Qualifications Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or RD Eligible Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable Ability to present information in one-on-one as well group format Experience working with special diets and food allergies ServSafe® Manager Certification a plus Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft applications and nutrient analysis programs The Benefits Opportunities for Training and Development Retirement Plan Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Voluntary Benefits, including Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Legal Services, and Choice Auto and Home Program In addition, full-time positions also offer the following benefits to associates: Medical Vision Life Insurance/AD Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Associates may also be eligible for paid and/or unpaid time off benefits in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
