As an Armed Security Officer, you are an integral part of the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients every day./ppSpecific benefits include:/pulliCompetitive Pay/liliBenefits such as medical, dental vision for those who are eligible/liliAll uniforms and equipment provided./li/ulpSpecific Requirements - Each candidate must have achieved at least ONE of the following to qualify:/pulliMilitary service that included law enforcement or security duties or support in a combat zone/liliEight years active service in any military branch/liliBachelors degree in law enforcement or criminal justice/liliAssociate degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service/liliGraduation from a certified public safety academy in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting/li/ulpDuties and Responsibilities/pulliConduct functional checks of all equipment and systems used on this post upon assuming duties. Report equipment malfunctions or deficiencies following established procedures./liliPerform interior and exterior patrols of designated buildings throughout the shift./liliThe officer shall conduct patrols of the complex, parking areas, garages, etc./liliInterior patrols shall include random foot patrols of the various work areas of the buildings occupied by the client. Officers shall inspect stairwells, work areas, restroom facilities, lobbies, and entrances./liliThe officer is expected to verbally interact with employees while performing their rounds, thus giving the employees a sense of active security operations./liliRemain alert for unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activities in, around, and throughout the office complex area./liliMonitor personnel traffic entering, exiting, and inside buildings./liliMonitor activities in the main lobbies of buildings maintaining safety and security of work areas./liliRespond to emergencies involving the office complex./li/ulpInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
