Treatment plans are designed to address medical necessity and may take place in centers, homes, schools, community settings, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager and occupy a salaried, exempt, full‑time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure 100% treatment adherence each month across all supervision hours Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to identify their function Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory protocol implementation Direct behavior technicians in implementing new or revised protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Primarily work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjust protocols based on data Update treatment plans at least once per month based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, including supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregivers as part of the treatment team through consistent collaboration meetings Interact with payers collaboratively, professionally, and informatively Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews) Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Partner consistently and effectively with other center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator, Technician, Behavior Technician Leads) Complete other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field (required) Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (required) Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate, maintaining strict confidentiality Collaborative and positive, solution‑focused attitude Independent problem‑solving and clinical judgment Effective communicator in both verbal and written formats Excellent time‑management skills for a fast‑paced, changing environment Advanced computer skills: MS Excel, Word, Outlook; proficiency with new systems and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skillsets Willingness to work in various locations (center, patient home, etc.) Willingness to work with a variety of patients Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance Must pass a tuberculosis test Fluency in English, both written and verbal Work Environment Treatment may occur in patient homes, CARD centers, schools, community settings, or via telehealth. Supervisors work indoors and outdoors, moving between locations throughout the day. Settings may be loud or noisy at times. Physical Requirements Work with patients in various seated positions across multiple environments Move frequently to gather materials, anticipate patient movements, and provide instruction in diverse settings Maintain continuous visual tracking to monitor patient movement and surroundings Evade or block aggressive behaviors when necessary, bearing patient weight as required Teach patients vocal speech and provide clear modeling of communication Model gross and fine motor skills (e.g., climbing, jumping, clapping) Work outdoors across various weather conditions Lift up to 30 lb while assisting patients EEO Statement Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
