Full-Time Hospital Service Technician

Remote Hospital Services Technician

Under management direction, a Remote Hospital Services Technician provides service to a customer healthcare facility located outside the boundaries of service established for existing service teams. These healthcare facilities most often are located within a small labor market, and are considered remote to normal business operations. Often, the remote facility is an hour away from other healthcare facilities serviced by the Company. Remote Hospital Service Technicians generally work a minimum of 10 hours or less per week. Team members within the local small labor market typically are responsible to service a single healthcare facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for various WMHS programs and services, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substance and Document Management.
• Interacts professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule.
• Communicates duty status on a defined schedule.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

A. Required Qualifications

• This position requires on-site presence at WMHS customer locations and compliance with all mandatory immunization requirements imposed by such customers, and
• 2 years industry related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in a variety of settings and situations or preferred education requirement
• Valid Driver's License

Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.

Monday - Friday

Various Hospitals throughout Baltimore, MD

Parking reimbursed.

Schedule is subject to change to meet customer's needs.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this on-site position is $23.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testingincluding pre?employment screening, post?incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testingin accordance with government regulations and company policies.
