Field Service Technician - Solar

Solar Service Technician
Solar Gaines is growing, and we are looking to add a service technician to our expanding team. The solar service technician coordinates service requests, troubleshoots, and resolves issues. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning solar systems and electrical components.
- Complete tasks safely, correctly, and on schedule.
- Ensure PPE, tools, and equipment assigned are maintained in good working condition or replaced as required.
Skills and qualifications:
- Experience working with commercial and residential PV systems.
- Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes as they relate to solar PV installations and inspection compliance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of DC electrical.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Experience reading blueprints, plans, and manufacturer specs.
- Effective time management and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Must be comfortable working from elevated environments.
- Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
- Proficiency in using computers.
Education and/or work experience requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of PV installation and/or service experience
- OSHA 10 certification
- Valid driver's license
