Associate Real Estate Attorney

Job Details Location: Midsize real estate firm in NYC (Manhattan). Salary: $165,000 - $185,000 per year. About the Firm Based in Manhattan, we are an award-winning law firm specializing in real estate law across New York and the USA. Position Overview We are seeking a Permanent Real Estate Associate Attorney (Administrative) to manage a wide range of administrative and legal tasks related to real estate law, particularly in agency, litigation, DHCR, NYC, human rights, oath, and rent stabilization. Responsibilities Represent clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and leasing. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of real estate agreements and contracts. Provide legal advice on a broad range of real estate issues such as rent stabilization, human rights, and oath. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various real estate matters. Represent clients before administrative bodies including DHCR and NYC agencies. Litigate complex real estate disputes, including breach of contract, foreclosure, and landlord-tenant disputes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and trends in the real estate industry. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the smooth running of our legal operations. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 3‑10 years of experience as a real estate attorney, with a focus on administrative law. Proven experience in agency, litigation, DHCR, NYC Human Rights, oath, and rent stabilization. Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to interpret and draft complex legal documents. Strong research skills and proficiency in using legal databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality. Benefits Competitive Base Salary.
