Senior Bookkeeper

Position Overview:

A growing logistics and supply chain company is seeking a full-time Senior Bookkeeper to join its team in Carteret, NJ. This is a high-impact position that works directly with company leadership to provide visibility into the organization's cash position and short-term financial outlook.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Process invoicing, vendor payments, and collections follow-up
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payments and discrepancies
• Support day-to-day accounting and administrative functions
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all financial data

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, cash management, or financial analysis experience
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 DOE
