Sales Account Manager

Mega Western Sales, a manufacturer’s rep firm serving the plumbing, HVAC, and building materials industry across Northern California, is seeking a Sales Account Manager to grow our South Bay contractor base. You’ll work directly with plumbing and HVAC contractors in the field, driving demand and loyalty for key manufacturer lines including Rheem, Delta, BrassCraft, IPS Corporation, Bemis, and more. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and build relationships with plumbing/HVAC contractors and service techs throughout South Bay Conduct job-site visits, contractor training sessions, and lunch-and-learns to drive product preference Grow contractor pipeline through a structured account/opportunity tracking process Support contractors with product selection, troubleshooting, and technical questions Convert contractor demand into pull-through sales at the distributor level Identify new contractor accounts and expand share of wallet with existing ones Track contractor engagement and territory activity, reporting on pipeline progress Qualifications 2+ years of outside sales experience, ideally selling directly to contractors or service technicians in plumbing, HVAC, or building materials Existing relationships with South Bay contractors strongly preferred Comfortable making cold calls and job-site visits, and building rapport with tradespeople Ability to explain technical product benefits in practical, contractor-friendly terms Self-motivated with strong follow-up and pipeline management skills Proficiency with CRM/pipeline tracking tools (Excel or similar) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Base salary + bonus structure Vehicle allowance, gas card, cell phone, & computer #J-18808-Ljbffr Mega Western Sales, Inc.
