Position Summary

Westman Atelier is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Education to lead our global education strategy and ensure a consistent, elevated brand experience across global markets and premier retail partners. Based in New York, this individual will partner closely with product development, marketing, commercial and events teams to translate Gucci Westman’s signature artistry, philosophy and approach to clean luxury beauty and skincare into a clear, inspiring and scalable education framework.

This highly hands-on role will own the development of product, artistry, service and selling education – from new product launches and core product knowledge to selling strategies, elevated service menus, and field development. The ideal candidate is an exceptional educator, credible makeup artist, and a commercially minded strategic thinker who can translate Gucci’s techniques into memorable, actionable tools that inspire our teams, elevate the customer experience and drive commercial performance.

Responsibilities:

Artistry & Global Education

• Serve as the global steward of Gucci Westman’s artistry and clean-beauty philosophy, establishing global standards, services, and selling behaviors across all markets, retail partners, and the WA Beauty Concierge.
• Design and facilitate hands-on masterclasses, workshops, and virtual training, including onboarding (Westman 101) and progressive development levels to build deep product expertise, service excellence, and artistry competencies.
• Build and implement a global Train-the-Trainer model to certify Field Leaders, SEEs, and Concierge teams to independently deliver high-impact, consistent education across their respective markets.

Product & Innovation

• Partner with Product Development and Marketing to turn new innovations and core SKUs into engaging learning tools, including global decks, reference guides, digital modules, and social content that drive field execution and cross-selling.
• Collaborate with key account leads and retail partners, including Sephora, to co-create brand-approved training content for retailer learning platforms.

Selling & Service Excellence

• Define and standardize Westman Atelier’s luxury selling behaviors, building practical tools, scripts, and service menus focused on consultation, regimen building, link-selling, and customer retention.
• Partner with Field Directors and Regional Managers to analyze sales trends, productivity metrics, and retailer feedback, creating targeted education strategies that address performance gaps and directly drive commercial growth.

Retail & Field Execution

• Lead retailer education initiatives (cluster trainings, round robins) and partner with Global Events to prepare field teams for store openings, commercial campaigns, and masterclasses.
• Conduct regular market visits to evaluate execution, deliver real-time coaching, and maintain a feedback loop that identifies knowledge gaps and emerging market opportunities.

Planning & Operations

• Oversee global gratis forecasting with Sales and Planning while managing a unified education calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and commercial milestones.
• Establish measurement systems to track education effectiveness, continuous improvement, and the impact of training on key selling behaviors.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of elite makeup artistry and retail education experience within the luxury beauty sector; Proven success within top-tier prestige retail environments such as Sephora and/or Nordstrom environments is highly preferred.
• Exceptional high-level artistry skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex techniques into digestible, sales-driving education.
• Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills, with high poise and authority required for a luxury founder-led brand.
• Demonstrated experience in instructional content creation, digital learning tools, and video content production.
• Strong business acumen and project management skills; ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with store management, internal stakeholders, and VIP clients.
• Adaptable and self-motivated with a willingness to work weekends and travel domestically and internationally for events and training up to 50% of the time.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and familiarity with retail systems (e.g., Sephora Education Portal, View email address on aiapply.co).

Westman Atelier offers a holistic total compensation package designed to support employees in all aspects of life, including a robust suite of health benefits, wellness perks, 401k, and paid parental leave. The base salary for this position will range from $105,000-$130,000. Exact compensation may vary based on job related skills, experience, and location.
